Bec is a self-taught artist – having loved drawing from a very young age. Her form of meditation either a sketchbook and pencil, or a paintbrush and canvas. Loving all styles and mediums, her work is diverse and ever-evolving, reflecting her curiosity and joy in the creative process.
Based in the beachside town of Mount Maunganui, Bec is inspired by the energy of her surroundings but doesn’t limit her subject matter to local themes. Her paintings range from nature-inspired pieces to more abstract explorations, each infused with movement and colour. Her sketches often lean toward a realist style, with faces being a favourite challenge she loves to explore.
Intentional in her practice, Bec takes commissions on a case-by-case basis, creating works that feel both personal and timeless.
